I emailed an author recently whose books I really enjoyed and had recommended to other people. And got nothing back. Not even a Thank you, glad you enjoyed them. Truthfully, I'll still buy her books-if there is nothing else out that I want. But she is no longer an auto buy for me and I no longer talk up her books. What would it have taken for her to just give me a simple response? A couple minutes? Yes, I know people are busy(know a little something about that) but even if it had been a week later, I would have appreciated it. So take note authors! Don’t you hate that?
