I think it helps that I’ve got most of my Christmas presents in early so haven’t had to face the last minute shopping rush, so I’m “up for” hitting the shops afterwards. (esepcially if I avoid the busy times!)

Sainsbury’s was good, as was Boots (especially when things went to 25% of original). clintons still has some really good stuff, too.

Thanks for reminding me to nip into Denholm Mills later. I hear rumours they still have Christmas stuff that would make good raffle prizes for the Community Project’s next Christmas Fair. I already hit Sainsbury’s before the prize-call went out and grabbed myself a Santa teapot, two Santa mugs and a Christmas pudding mug all ready for next year (also three bags of marshmallows inside the mugs, which need eaten before the middle of the year).

Of course my big mission is to remember in November that I stashed away a bunch of cards that I bought too late to use last year.

Eeeee, thank you! Although I’m actually getting pretty nervous as to whether my story can live up to Herne’s legend!! Will throw my all into those edits — it’s been a blast to write, but definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever attempted. Am genuinely going to stick to one time period in the next one
